Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, is hiring a Manager, Talent Acquisition to oversee and build recruiting capabilities for our Finance, Procurement & Aviation function. You will set the vision and strategy, leveraging market insights to position AbbVie as an employer of choice in biopharma.
What You'll Do
- Provide leadership to a team of 9 Talent Acquisition Professionals (full time and contractor), managing requisitions and customer service.
- Set vision, strategy, and goals for all aspects of recruiting talent across the assigned function.
- Compile and communicate industry overviews, market trends, and company initiatives to team members and business leaders.
- Develop and implement comprehensive Human Capital Response Plans to meet business objectives.
- Lead effective recruiting processes and standards, providing a high-quality experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Oversee the pre-employment process and the preparation and approval of offer packages.
- Ensure compliance with state/federal employment laws and AbbVie policies for applicant tracking and reporting.
- Partner with hiring managers and leadership as a true business partner on all staffing-related issues.
- Assess future talent needs and partner with business and finance to ensure appropriate budgeting for recruiting demand.
- Pre-screen candidates, manage projects, and partner with global team members to develop sourcing strategies.
- Manage requisitions, update the SmartRecruiters applicant tracking system, and achieve recruiting metrics.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 5-7+ years of recruitment experience in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
- Experience leading a team of salaried recruiting professionals to deliver TA strategies and business goals.
- Experience supporting Vice President-level stakeholders on a consistent basis.
- A strong business presence with the ability to instill confidence in clients and deliver results.
- Proactive recruiting and sourcing experience.
Nice to Have
- Recruitment experience in the healthcare industry is strongly preferred.
- Marketing and Sales recruitment experience is a plus.
- Experience collaborating with a broader HR Organization in support of business initiatives.

Team & Environment
You will lead a team of 9 Talent Acquisition Professionals (full-time and contractor). You will report to and partner with senior leadership within the assigned function. Key stakeholders include Senior Vice Presidents of Finance, Tax and Technology, Procurement, Head of Aviation, and multiple Finance and Procurement Vice Presidents/Directors.
