Lead and develop a high-performing field team of approximately 10 Therapeutic Area Specialists focused on advancing neuroscience treatments, including the recently launched COBENFY. In this role, you will shape strategy, guide professional growth, and ensure execution excellence across key markets in New Jersey and nearby regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor specialists in scientific engagement, digital tool utilization, and consultative selling techniques tailored to psychiatry
- Drive adoption of innovative capabilities such as CE^3 analytics and personalized content platforms
- Use data insights to inform call planning, prioritize accounts, and refine outreach strategies
- Lead district-level budgeting, promotional planning, and performance tracking
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives to scale the team effectively
- Collaborate with Commercial, Medical, and Access teams to align field strategy with broader business objectives
- Model compliant behaviors and ensure adherence to regulatory standards across all activities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- At least 10 years in pharmaceutical or related industry roles with demonstrated leadership success
- Proven ability to build, coach, and retain high-impact field teams
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in sales strategy, market access, and customer engagement
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility as a Qualified Driver (minimum age 21, clean driving record)
Preferred Experience
- Background in neuropsychiatry, including familiarity with treatment pathways and stakeholder dynamics
- Five or more years as a District Business Manager or similar leadership role
- Knowledge of reimbursement, distribution, and access challenges in specialty pharma
Work Environment
This is a field-based position requiring approximately four days per week in the field with team members across locations including Newark, Jersey City, New York City, Yonkers, and Paterson. The company supports flexibility and work-life balance while maintaining strong field presence.
