athenahealth is looking for a Segment Marketing Associate to support our Segment Marketing team. In this role, you will develop and execute campaigns for the Small Group, Group, and Enterprise sales segments to drive demand and grow market share. You will partner closely with sales and marketing teams to create multichannel campaigns and analyze their performance.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Creative Services, Channels, Product Marketing, and Content teams to develop and execute multichannel, persona-based campaigns.
- Proactively engage with the sales team to coordinate campaign activities and build trust and alignment.
- Test, measure, analyze, and optimize campaign performance and report on results.
- Equip sales with market insights, messaging, and proof points to increase productivity.
- Work with Events, Brand, and other centralized marketing functions to support corporate-level programs.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in business-to-business marketing.
- Proven experience working with sales teams.
- Excels at time management and able to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
- Self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly detail-oriented.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze data, build reports within Excel, and generate actionable insights.
- Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget.
- Possesses a natural curiosity to learn.
