RemoteVA PH is hiring for a Secretary / Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day administrative and financial tasks for our construction and roofing operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented, with a background in construction management or roofing software.
What You'll Do
- Answer incoming phone calls, take accurate messages, and provide professional customer support.
- Enter work orders, project details, and job updates into AccuLynx or other construction/roofing software.
- Prepare and process invoices, and assist with accounts payable and receivable entries.
- Maintain accurate financial and project records in QuickBooks.
- Research permit and license requirements for jobs in various municipalities.
- Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and field crews to ensure timely information flow.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for contracts, invoices, and project documents.
- Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and other general administrative duties.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in an administrative or bookkeeping role within construction or roofing.
- Experience with AccuLynx strongly preferred; familiarity with other construction or roofing software accepted.
