Wipro is looking for a Scrum Master to guide and facilitate a Scrum team. You will be accountable for removing impediments, protecting the team from external interference, and ensuring the Scrum framework is implemented effectively to achieve sprint deliverables.
What You'll Do
- Be accountable for meeting Sprint objectives alongside the scrum team.
- Ensure the team meets its sprint commitment.
- Own and help resolve team impediments.
- Help the Product Owner adopt the Scrum process and ensure their availability.
- Support the Product Owner in maintaining the Product Backlog and defining User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
- Facilitate estimation, backlog refinement, and all planning ceremonies.
- Ensure Definition of Ready (DOR), Definition of Done (DOD), and Acceptance Criteria are available and adhered to.
- Ensure MoSCoW adherence for the Sprint Backlog at the sprint level.
- Be accountable for the correct implementation of the Agile process.
- Protect the team from external interference.
- Facilitate technical assistance and clear communication among team members.
- Participate in Scrum of Scrums across teams and highlight impediments.
- Provide feedback on team member performance to the Agile Line Manager and Agile Program Leader.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Planning, Daily Standup, Grooming, Demo, Retrospective) and ensure their correct adoption.
- Ensure all Scrum artifacts are kept up to date.
- Ensure the ALM tool (client or Wipro) is updated daily.
- Update key Scrum metrics into Wipro's internal tool on a sprint-by-sprint basis.
- Analyze key Scrum metrics and take corrective actions.
- Create and review a competency improvement and cross-skilling plan for the team to ensure improvement and multiskilling for at least 50% of the team.
- Help the team attain stable velocity within 6-8 sprints.
- Train the team on proper adoption of Agile processes (Scrum, XP, Kanban).
- Help in the adoption of engineering practices like ATDD, TDD, CI, CD, and Refactoring.
- Record and own retrospective actions.
- Participate in community of practice initiatives.
- Provide inputs to the Line Manager for internal quality forums (QIC, APR, QBR, MBR).
What We're Looking For
- Deep knowledge of Agile Scrum Methodology.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience.
