Twilio is looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join the Japan GTM sales team. In this role, you will act as the operational glue between many functions, supporting Account Executives with critical activities and processes throughout the sales cycle.
What You'll Do
- Assist with pricing and deal workflows, preparing deal structures and mastering internal pricing tools.
- Handle order form creation, amendments, and execution, engaging with client stakeholders to ensure accuracy.
- Create quotes via CPQ workflows and convert them into customer-facing documents.
- Oversee and maintain CRM records, including account data updates, ownership queries, and opportunity management.
- Act as an internal liaison, creating and submitting requests to teams like Billing, Legal, and Security, and following them through to resolution.
- Work with internal stakeholders such as Deal Desk, Contracts, and Pre-Sales to ensure a smooth sales process and accurate paperwork.
- Provide customer support, including joining calls with Account Executives to explain aspects of your responsibilities.
- Prepare for sales meetings and conduct research for Account Executives.
- Create and maintain a team-level tracker for cross-functional challenges, actively working with leadership to resolve them.
What We're Looking For
- Business-level English and native-level Japanese proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.
- 2+ years of sales, customer success, or account management experience.
- A results-driven, detail-oriented, and dedicated individual excited to support a successful sales team.
- A collaborative approach with a can-do attitude and relentless pursuit of goals and problem-solving.
- Basic understanding of how different functions within an enterprise organization operate.
- Ability to advocate for customers internally with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Extreme attention to detail in both written and verbal communications.
- Extremely organized with above-average proficiency in spreadsheets, documents, and presentations.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge in SaaS, PaaS, CPaaS, or telecom is a plus.
- Capability to utilize IT tools, including groupware, collaborative software, productivity tools, SFA, CRM, or MA.
