Philips is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to manage contracts and cultivate executive relationships with selected Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs). In this role, you will work strategically at the C-Level and partner cross-functionally with the internal sales team to drive Philips' presence across all product lines.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain key relationships with executive decision makers, contract portfolio managers, and other essential GPO organization members.
- Develop and maintain annual strategic plans, including quarterly business reviews, product roadmap discussions, and presentations to Advisory Boards.
- Manage GPO contracts to increase sales and market share, oversee price files, and ensure Philips adheres to all contract requirements.
- Provide and report on data analytics to facilitate effective communication with GPO teams.
- Act as the ONE Philips deal team leader for all potential business within the GPO, supporting multiple Philips businesses.
- Manage both capital equipment and supplies/consumables contracts.
- Negotiate and manage terms and conditions issues during and after the RFP process.
- Oversee marketing and awareness creation campaigns through and within assigned GPOs.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of successful experience in sales, clinical, or business management.
- Focus on GPO operations/contracts, healthcare industry trends, and hospital-supplier interactions.
- Previous experience with GPO agreements, contracting, terms and conditions issues, and managing RFPs.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to perform minimum Physical, Cognitive, and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
- Outstanding business acumen and communication skills, including presentation abilities.
- Ability to seamlessly communicate and partner internally and externally in a complex matrix environment.
