Medtronic is hiring a Sales Representative III, a seasoned sales professional responsible for promoting and selling our products and services within an assigned geographic area and specific customer accounts. You will be instrumental in developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders to meet or exceed sales targets.
What You'll Do
- Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
- Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize the benefits derived from our products.
- Promote and establish education of the company's products and/or services.
- Conduct market research including customers and competitors activities.
- Implement market development plans and strategies, adjusting as needed.
- Communicate customer feedback on new products or modifications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations, and Marketing.
- Direct the work of other sales professionals and manage sales processes for accounts involving multiple team members.
- Secure and maintain product distribution agreements and services.
- Build a network of relationships and drive adoption and penetration in accounts.
- Improve sales processes and tools to enhance performance.
- Recommend changes in account strategy and tactics to achieve sales goals.
- Influence internal and external contacts, customers, and vendors regarding policy and practices.
- Communicate with external suppliers and customers, involving advanced negotiation and presentations to manage relationships and close sales.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other sales professionals and support employees.
- Manage large accounts, delegating work and reviewing others' work product.
What We're Looking For
- Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent international degree)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience
- Complete knowledge of company products and services
