British American Tobacco - Home is hiring a Sales Representative for Business Development to implement our trade marketing and distribution model within an assigned territory. You will own the relationships with clients, drive sales performance, and ensure accurate reporting, contributing directly to our market presence in Kharkiv.
What You'll Do
- Implement the trade marketing and distribution model across your assigned retail territory.
- Be fully accountable for your territory, managing all points of sale for company products.
- Analyze sales data to select which retail outlets to visit and maintain optimal product availability and stock levels according to the assortment matrix.
- Monitor sales and inventory, identifying out-of-stock situations and ensuring accurate data entry into the system.
- Execute defined marketing activities at retail points, including new product launches, brand zone placements, and promotional campaigns.
- Build and develop long-term, quality partnerships with clients on your territory.
- Identify investment opportunities aligned with company ROI principles and negotiate service agreements.
- Coordinate the placement of company equipment according to standards and manage agreements with retail partners.
- Activate retail sellers through training, motivation, and engagement programs.
- Monitor the competitive environment in your territory and report findings to your line manager.
- Maintain all periodic and current reporting and documentation for your territory as per standards.
- Analyze your territory's retail clients, suppliers, and wholesale operators, ensuring compliance with illicit trade prevention procedures.
- Ensure accurate system data entry regarding brand distribution, sales volume, competitor activity, and equipment lists.
- Oversee the proper use of trade equipment, manage data in internal systems, and coordinate regular servicing and repairs with contractors.
What We're Looking For
- Associate degree (Junior Specialist) or Bachelor's degree.
- 1+ year of experience in sales or trade marketing.
- Valid driver's license and driving experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent command of the Ukrainian language.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Analytical mindset with a results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Nice to Have
- English language skills at a pre-intermediate level or higher.

This is an onsite position based in Kharkiv.
