About the Role

Medline Industries, LP is hiring a Sales Rep Post Acute Care to join our Post-Acute Care Division. You will be responsible for selling our top-quality products and solutions to long-term care facilities, home health and hospice agencies, and medical equipment providers, developing new business, managing a territory, and building lasting customer relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Call on the post-acute care market including long-term care facilities, home health and hospice agencies and medical equipment providers.
  • Sell clinical and operational solutions to all levels of decision makers including owners, senior clinical officers and purchasing managers.
  • Sell products that include incontinence, skin care, DME, advance wound care and gloves.
  • Develop a strong knowledge base about Medline’s very large product catalog and numerous value added programs and services.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with new customers and deepen relationships with existing ones.
  • Cold call and prospect to develop new business opportunities.
  • Present new products and initiatives; educate customers on current industry trends and regulations.
  • Prepare bids and negotiate contracts.
  • Take ownership and leadership of your territory-- growing it like your own business.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience OR at least 5 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience.
  • Ability to sell effectively to different levels within a customer organization.
  • Proven ability to identify, connect with, and close new business; build consensus.
  • Complex sales strategy/approach to sell solutions across multiple levels.
  • Background in commissioned, tangible product sales.
  • Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment.
  • Ability to present multiple product lines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Stable work history.
  • Computer proficiency especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to drive a car, travel in that car 90% of each day, and interact with healthcare providers on site.
