TouchBistro is looking for a Sales Planning & Commissions Manager to build and grow the variable commission process across our restaurant-focused tech organization. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will create and execute variable compensation plans, optimize commissions, and support our revenue teams.
What You'll Do
- Execute and optimize the end-to-end commissions process, including people tracking, quota consumption, credit inputs, and commission output.
- Analyze and report to senior leadership on the performance of the compensation plan and its alignment with goals.
- Lead variable compensation plan design, maintain system updates, and communicate updates to Go-to-Market teams.
- Provide recommendations to leaders for setting up quota metrics and driving execution of new metrics.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success leadership on plan design and updates, and document executed plans.
- Work with Sales and Customer Success teams to resolve commission discrepancies or questions.
- Collaborate with Legal and HR on compensation plan documents and with Payroll on monthly payment execution.
- Partner with Financial Planning & Analysis on forecasting plan results and comparing actuals to expectations.
- Provide support and clarity for employees with questions concerning commission statements and payout.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience working on sales compensation administration and commission calculations.
- Experience working in a B2B SaaS and/or Payments organization.
- Deep understanding of compensation practices, SaaS/Payments-based plan structures, procedures, and key metrics.
- Strong data analysis and project reporting skills.
- Exceptional understanding of Salesforce and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Proven track record in effectively leading cross-functional projects while managing stakeholder expectations.
Nice to Have
- Experience implementing commissions software such as Spiff.
