At Qlik, we are looking for a Sales Performance Financial Analyst to join our Global Compensation and Planning team. You'll play a key role in supporting company growth and sales strategy through detailed financial analysis of commission programs.
What You'll Do
- Provide monthly review and analysis of actual commission costs and forecasted costs based on bookings and opportunity forecasts.
- Present commission cost analysis directly to the EVP and CFO.
- Support the Senior Director, Compensation in preparing additional analysis and identifying trends related to compensation effectiveness and rep performance.
- Support the annual budget and planning process for compensation design, ensuring alignment with Sales Go to Market strategy.
- Help identify and document team processes to enhance communication and transparency regarding commission plans, processes, and payments for internal customers.
What We're Looking For
- A Finance or Accounting degree.
- 2-4 years’ experience in a finance, Sales Analyst role, or a combination thereof.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with Word and Outlook.
- Experience using Salesforce.com CRM.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across a culturally diverse environment.
- Proven ability to meet strict deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of numeracy.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.
- Proactive, process-driven, and seeks to find more efficient systems.
- Takes responsibility for work and uses initiative.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capability.
- Pragmatic and straightforward approach.
Nice to Have
- An MBA is preferred.
- 2-4 years in technology, sales, business, or another fast-paced, growth-related field.
- Knowledge of compensation software such as Xactly, Netsuite, or Anaplan, and Qlik Sense.
