MMGY Global was looking for a Sales & Marketing, Account Manager

MMGY Global is hiring an Sales & Marketing Account Manager (Trade) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and trade contacts, coordinating marketing plans, and representing destinations at trade shows and FAM trips. You'll report directly to the Senior Account Director.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients, managing day-to-day account activity and client needs.
  • Co-ordinate all marketing plans and activities, ensuring successful delivery of all campaigns as the project manager.
  • Represent the destination at various trade shows, FAM trips, and events, with some domestic and international travel required.
  • Motivate and manage a team to achieve client objectives.
  • Handle trade enquiries via email, telephone, and meetings, maintain consumer and trade databases, and attend meetings and networking events to maximise the client’s profile.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a similar role for a minimum of 3-4 years within the tourism industry (e.g., travel agency/tour operator, tourism boards, airlines, hotels).
  • A strong network within the UK and Ireland travel trade industry.
  • A strong understanding of the travel trade industry and its distribution channels.
  • Experience in managing budgets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading and managing teams.
  • Strong project management and organisational abilities, specifically experience in project managing B2B or B2C campaigns.

Nice to Have

  • B2B or B2C agency, or equivalent in-house experience, working with Caribbean and U.S. Tourism Boards.
