NielsenIQ is hiring a Sales Manager to lead the strategy and execution of revenue-generating, supplier-targeted campaigns. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong partnerships with suppliers and ensuring the successful delivery of marketing initiatives that meet business objectives.
What You'll Do
- Own revenue targets for supplier-targeted campaigns and ensure KPIs are achieved.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to secure new campaigns and upsell to existing suppliers.
- Lead proactive pitching of marketing opportunities to supplier partners.
- Forecast revenue performance and provide regular updates to management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and the internal Retailer team to foster long-term partnerships.
- Represent the supplier during Joint Business Planning (JBP) or Category Review meetings to identify new marketing opportunities.
- Organize supplier activities and briefings to showcase marketing capabilities and drive engagement.
- Prepare compelling proposals and negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers.
- Ensure all campaign materials align with retailer guidelines on promotional mechanisms and artwork standards.
- Proactively generate ideas to drive revenue through targeted campaigns for suppliers.
- Track revenue performance and campaign delivery to ensure KPIs are met.
- Collaborate with Client Service (CS) to co-present post-campaign evaluations and insights to suppliers.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and CRM records for visibility and forecasting.
- Analyze campaign ROI and recommend improvements for future initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management (retail or FMCG industry experience preferred).
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and managing high-value accounts.
- Strong negotiation and client management skills.
- Ability to build trust with all stakeholders involved in assigned projects.
- Skill in communicating technical decisions and their rationales to business and development teams, navigating conflicting opinions effectively.
- Ability to influence team members to complete tasks on time and follow project management guidelines.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Ability to properly scope requirements, identify tasks, and determine the level of effort for projects.
Nice to Have
- Master’s Degree.
- Experience working in a cross-functional, team-based, globally distributed environment; international work experience is desired.
