Experian seeks a Sales Executive to own and lead the strategy for one of our largest and most strategic client accounts. As the senior owner of this key relationship, you will be responsible for ensuring long-term growth, executive engagement, and internal team coordination, all while operating as an individual contributor without direct people management.
What You'll Do
- Lead the client’s 1–3–5 year strategic account plan.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan aligned with client priorities and Experian's growth objectives.
- Serve as the ultimate owner for account performance, expansion, and risk mitigation.
- Build and nurture relationships with C-level and senior client leadership.
- Conduct strategic conversations focused on long-term value and partnership.
- Position Experian as a strategic advisor to the client.
- Orchestrate internal teams (Sales, Product, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, etc.).
- Influence priorities and outcomes without formal authority.
- Resolve complex conflicts between internal areas.
- Manage pipeline, forecasts, deal governance, and executive rituals.
- Identify structural opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Manage the account with a lifetime value perspective, beyond annual targets.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing large, complex enterprise accounts.
- Strong background in financial services and corporate decision-making processes.
- Mastery of consultative sales methodologies and pipeline management.
- Ability to influence executives and stakeholders without direct authority.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills at the executive level.
Nice to Have
- Experience working within global, matrixed organizations.
- A track record of establishing and maintaining long-term corporate partnerships.
- Familiarity with data, technology, analytics, or B2B services.
- Experience in highly regulated industry sectors.
