RTS is looking for a Sales Director - International to serve as the connective tissue between our international market sales leads, agencies, and central Partnerships and Evo teams. Reporting to the SVP of Partnerships, you will help shape the international go-to-market strategy, guide deal architecture, manage pipelines, and actively support the progression and closing of commercial partnerships.
What You'll Do
- Partner closely with local market sales teams and agencies in Japan, France, and the US to develop market-specific sponsorship strategies, category targeting, and commercial positioning.
- Translate Evo’s global value proposition into compelling, culturally relevant partnership narratives.
- Support and, when appropriate, directly participate in high-value sales conversations and negotiations.
- Own and manage international sponsorship pipelines, forecasting, and revenue tracking across markets.
- Manage relationships with international sales agencies by setting clear expectations, performance standards, and accountability.
- Review and refine proposals, pricing models, and deal structures to ensure strategic alignment and commercial viability.
- Apply strong strategic planning and analytical skills to assess market performance, pipeline health, and category opportunity.
- Collaborate closely with Evo product, creative, and event teams to align partnership solutions with upcoming event footprints and operational realities.
- Guide the localization of global creative concepts while maintaining Evo brand integrity.
- Join and often lead pitch presentations alongside local teams to articulate narrative, value proposition, and activation approach.
- Work with partners through the full sales cycle from initial strategy through deal signing.
- Remain involved post-sale to ensure partnership delivery aligns with intent, scope, and expectations, including on-site activation at international events.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, partnership development, or commercial roles within gaming, esports, or adjacent entertainment categories.
- Deep understanding of the full sponsorship sales process from discovery through negotiation and closing.
- Proven experience working across international markets and managing external sales agencies.
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate markets, pipelines, and performance.
- Excellent understanding of international markets and cultural differences.
- Exceptional negotiation, closing, project management, and organizational skills.
- Background in gaming, esports, creator ecosystems, or live competitive events required.
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with high proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity in APAC and European markets strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is preferred.
