Planar Systems is seeking a Sales Development Representative to grow our business in the audio-visual industry across Southern California. You will be pivotal in developing new opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and managing our showroom presence in Costa Mesa, CA.
What You'll Do
- Develop new business by reaching out to potential clients, attending industry events, and networking.
- Drive business impact through lead generation and innovative campaigns.
- Grow existing accounts by providing excellent customer service and offering new products.
- Maintain the CRM for contact details and pipeline management.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create and implement sales strategies.
- Work with the marketing team to create marketing materials and promotional campaigns.
- Manage the showroom to ensure it is presentable, stocked, and up-to-date with the latest AV technology.
- Meet corporate and sales objectives.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of sales or business development experience.
- Professional and consultative approach with strong interpersonal skills.
- High energy and sense of urgency.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with AV technology and industry trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in the AV or another technical industry.
