About the Role

Deel is hiring a Sales Development Representative for our IT division in the ANZ region. You will be instrumental in breaking into new accounts and building relationships across all levels of our target customer segments. This role involves collaborating with the wider sales team, conducting market research to identify leads, and qualifying those opportunities to fuel our growth in Australia.

What You'll Do

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting via email, phone, and social media.
  • Identify and qualify prospective clients by understanding their specific needs and challenges.
  • Schedule product demonstrations for qualified prospects with Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to improve lead generation strategies.
  • Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline generation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system.
  • Participate in regular sales training and professional development opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales development or similar outbound commercial role in a SaaS/Tech industry.
  • Based in Australia with prior experience prospecting in the Australian market.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, eager to learn, and able to work autonomously.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets in a quota-carrying role.
  • You are smart, work hard, and have an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong growth mindset.
  • You have a way with words and can write email copy and sequence campaigns that convert.
  • You are adaptable, comfortable with a fast-paced environment, and an active relationship builder.
  • You can collaborate with internal and external teams to improve processes and workflows.
