About the Role

Southern Glazer's is hiring a Sales Consultant to represent the company in the market. In this role, you will build lasting customer relationships and drive sales revenue through face-to-face consultative selling. We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated professional with a business-oriented and customer-focused mindset.

What You'll Do

  • Build positive, credible, and lasting customer relationships based on trust.
  • Discover and identify customer business growth needs.
  • Develop a customer business growth plan for each account and build a pipeline of selling opportunities.
  • Analyze data and insights to increase sales and grow customer business.
  • Regularly pre-plan account visits with an agenda, service purpose, and selling opportunities documented in CRM (Proof).
  • Prioritize sales activities to achieve objectives based on each customer's growth plan.
  • Visit accounts regularly, capture notes, and build visit plans considering previous outcomes in CRM (Proof).
  • Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and correctly present and position them.
  • Propose selling solutions using consultative skills to win the sale.
  • Achieve internal SGWS and supplier objectives as prioritized by management.
  • Manage customer issue resolution and seek additional opportunities to support business growth.
  • Adapt your selling approach based on each customer's buying styles and business needs.
  • Stay knowledgeable about all accounts, competitors, and SGWS product positioning.
  • Document and maintain account-specific information in CRM (Proof).
  • Participate in sales meetings, on-site training, and supplier events as required.

What We're Looking For

  • 21 years or older.
  • Able to analyze and understand data and information.
  • Able to leverage SGWS technology to perform duties and responsibilities.
  • Able to build and structure customer presentations and product proposals.
  • Proficient in using mobile devices (e.g., iPad®, smartphone) and online communication professionally.
  • Able to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances.
  • Takes responsibility for own actions and results; commits to a high level of service.
  • Able to communicate effectively through various methods and express self clearly.
  • Able to be nimble in ambiguity, open to change, and embrace innovative ideas.
  • Team player who works collaboratively with others.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Must possess a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain/maintain auto liability insurance meeting company requirements.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Able to travel as needed.
