About the Role

Upstream Rehabilitation is hiring a Sales Account Manager to represent its Benchmark Physical Therapy brand in Charleston, SC. You will lead strategic partnerships and drive business growth across a defined region to increase patient access to our trusted outpatient physical therapy services.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and follow an effective call strategy for your assigned region to increase referral outcomes from existing and potential partners.
  • Report regularly to the Regional VP of Operations and VP of Sales on plan status, progress, and challenges.
  • Communicate often and effectively with leadership on goals, strategies, and outcomes.
  • Build effective relationships with customers and community leaders in your region.
  • Work well both independently and with a team of Clinic Directors, therapy staff, business office staff, and peers.
  • Effectively present company information, service array, and outcomes data to existing and potential partners.
  • Use reporting and data tools to convey the high quality and clinical excellence of our team members and services.
  • Identify opportunities for publicity, coordinate community events, and attend and participate in Regional meetings as requested.
  • Present company information, including outcomes data, using appropriate medical terminology.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the sales field.
  • 2+ years of sales and marketing experience targeting physicians, medical offices, employers, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and work in an environment with multiple objectives.
  • A confident and persuasive style in guiding the sales process.
  • An ability to connect well with customer prospects and sell intangibles such as ideas and concepts.
  • A flexible, adaptive, engaging, and enthusiastic approach.
  • Self-starter mentality, working independently with limited supervision.
  • Resourceful, inventive, thorough, and diligent work ethic.
  • Competitive and determined to win.
  • Ability to build business relationships with customers and community leaders.

Nice to Have

  • Medical or Healthcare Sales Experience.

Team & Environment

You will report directly to the Regional VP of Operations and VP of Sales. You will collaborate closely with clinic directors, therapy staff, business office staff, and sales peers.
