SmartCommerce is hiring a Sales Account Executive to find new business opportunities and manage customer relationships. You will preserve and expand our customer base by identifying prospects and building them into long-term profitable partnerships.
What You'll Do
- Create detailed business plans to attain predetermined goals and quotas.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to securing the sale.
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships.
- Effectively present products to prospective clients.
- Provide professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty.
- Remain in regular contact with clients to understand and meet their needs to nurture and grow existing partnerships.
- Collaborate across the company to respond to complaints and resolve issues.
- Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data.
- Communicate and report on successes and obstacles to overcome.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of quota-carrying experience in Enterprise Sales.
- A history of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Comfort helping to lead complex contract negotiations.
- Ability to lead analysis-driven negotiation processes with proven closing skills.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Able to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience as a Sales Professional.
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to build relationships.
- Superior organizational and time-management skills.
- Highly developed business acumen.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about sales.
- A college degree is required.
- Experience working with brand manufacturers (both large and emerging brands).
- Experience selling software solutions and/or marketing solutions.
Nice to Have
- A BSc or BA in business administration, sales, or marketing is preferred.
- Knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
