SmartCommerce was looking for a Sales Account Executive

SmartCommerce is hiring a Sales Account Executive to find new business opportunities and manage customer relationships. You will preserve and expand our customer base by identifying prospects and building them into long-term profitable partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Create detailed business plans to attain predetermined goals and quotas.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to securing the sale.
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships.
  • Effectively present products to prospective clients.
  • Provide professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty.
  • Remain in regular contact with clients to understand and meet their needs to nurture and grow existing partnerships.
  • Collaborate across the company to respond to complaints and resolve issues.
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data.
  • Communicate and report on successes and obstacles to overcome.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 5 years of quota-carrying experience in Enterprise Sales.
  • A history of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Comfort helping to lead complex contract negotiations.
  • Ability to lead analysis-driven negotiation processes with proven closing skills.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Able to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Professional.
  • Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to build relationships.
  • Superior organizational and time-management skills.
  • Highly developed business acumen.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about sales.
  • A college degree is required.
  • Experience working with brand manufacturers (both large and emerging brands).
  • Experience selling software solutions and/or marketing solutions.

Nice to Have

  • A BSc or BA in business administration, sales, or marketing is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.

You will join the Sales - Growth department and report to a Sales Manager.
