Marshfield Clinic Health System is hiring a ROI Specialist to support our commitment to accessible, affordable, and compassionate healthcare. This role is responsible for managing the release of information processes, ensuring the secure and accurate handling of patient records and requests.
What You'll Do
- Obtain records from other healthcare organizations.
- Process referral requests.
- Maintain ROI documents in the electronic health record.
- Provide support to the release of information vendor.
- Process all disability and FMLA forms.
- Process all restriction, amendment, and accounting of disclosure requests.
What We're Looking For
- Completion of a medical terminology course within one year of hire.
- Three years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an HIM department and/or release of information.
- Experience with electronic health record systems.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience with worker’s compensation and disability claims.
- ROI experience is strongly desired.
