Rexel USA stands as a prominent distributor of electrical products, data communication, and related supplies across the United States. Operating through eight Regions under various banners like Rexel, Rexel Automation, Gexpro, Mayer, and Platt Electric Supply, the company maintains over 460 warehouse storefront locations nationwide, complemented by an online store. Position Summary: The Outside Sales Representative will drive sales and marketing efforts to increase profitable revenue by creating, building, and maintaining high-quality customer relationships. Leveraging company digital tools and products, the role involves connecting with consumers, developing innovative solutions, generating sales volume, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: - Sell, market, promote, and demonstrate products while effectively communicating feature and benefit propositions - Expand business through new customer acquisition and increased product sales to existing clients - Collaborate with leadership, team members, and suppliers in strategic sales planning and market development - Support customer product selection using comprehensive knowledge and specialist resources - Establish and nurture lasting customer relationships - Evaluate customer operations to identify objectives and craft tailored business solutions - Facilitate product quotations and maintain ongoing communication throughout customer purchasing cycles - Resolve payment issues promptly in coordination with management and credit departments - Collect and report competitive and market intelligence to management - Participate in professional development, training programs, and industry seminars - Maintain accurate sales documentation, call schedules, and expense reports - Coordinate vendor interactions for product demonstrations and solution identification - Champion digital tools and customer service platforms to gain competitive advantages - Execute additional assigned duties as needed Job Duties Disclaimer: This description outlines essential job functions and is not exhaustive.
