As a Title Curative professional in Default Services, you'll play a key role in identifying and resolving title discrepancies that arise during real estate transactions. Your primary responsibility will be reviewing title commitments to confirm clearances, verifying payoff details, tax status, and HOA obligations, and ensuring all curative items are properly documented and resolved.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine title commitments thoroughly to confirm all requirements are met and items resolved
- Address and correct rejected curative findings promptly
- Monitor daily reports to verify task completion and accuracy
- Generate and deliver external reports in alignment with client standards
- Follow established referral, billing, and payment procedures, ensuring correct coding
- Utilize internal and external escalation paths to resolve complex issues
- Respond professionally and efficiently to inquiries from clients and internal teams
- Maintain consistent communication with management and stakeholders
- Participate actively in team meetings and complete additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
You bring a high school diploma or equivalent and solid experience in real estate or vendor management services. You’re skilled in customer service and have a working understanding of real estate titles, deed preparation, and the curative lifecycle. Proficiency in Microsoft Office—especially Excel with experience in V Lookups and report generation—is required. You’re organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently while adhering to compliance standards.
