About the Role

Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Product Representative to provide in-depth technical guidance on our full product portfolio and support strategic business growth. This individual will work remotely from Johnstown, PA, collaborating closely with leadership and engineering teams to advance sales initiatives and identify opportunities for innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical sales expertise across all product lines and assist in shaping future product development through market insights
  • Identify and pursue new business prospects, managing the full cycle from lead generation to closing deals
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Act as the primary technical contact between potential customers and the engineering department
  • Prepare accurate quotes, forecast sales, and monitor performance metrics to exceed targets
  • Lead customer meetings and presentations, both virtually and in person
  • Travel domestically up to 50% of the time, with occasional international trips under 10%

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline related to engineering or production processes
  • Minimum of five years of experience in technical sales
  • Demonstrated ability to master product details and understand customer workflows
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex topics clearly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Familiarity with military and defense procurement, logistics, and acquisition cycles
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork

Work Environment

This is a remote position with a base location in Johnstown, PA. The role requires regular domestic travel (up to 50%) and limited international travel (less than 10%).
