As a Remote Customer Service Associate, you’ll play a key role in supporting the academic community by assisting students, faculty, and staff through voice and chat channels. Using Amazon Connect and other cloud-based tools, you’ll deliver clear, empathetic support while navigating customer inquiries efficiently and professionally.
What You’ll Do
- Provide timely and accurate support via phone and chat using Amazon Connect and Connect Assistant
- Follow structured workflows to resolve technical and service-related issues
- Document customer interactions thoroughly and manage follow-up actions
- Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, balancing quality and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members and escalate complex cases when necessary
- Adhere to assigned schedules, including weekend and holiday availability
- Engage in regular training and development to support continuous improvement
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age of 18
- Stable work history and ability to commit to full-time hours (40 hours/week)
- Quiet, dedicated workspace at home with minimal distractions
- Reliable internet: 30 Mbps download, 15 Mbps upload, low latency and jitter
- Connection via Cable, Fiber, or DSL only—mobile hotspots and satellite are not permitted
- Proficiency with web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Professional fluency in English (CEF C1 or higher)
- Willingness to complete a temporary assignment
- Must reside in an approved state
- Successful completion of CLEAR™ identity verification required
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service or a contact center setting
- Familiarity with Amazon Connect or similar platforms
- Some college education or coursework
- Background in education or eLearning support

Compensation & Work Environment
This is a fully remote, temporary role with a pay rate of $12.50 per hour. You must have a dedicated home workspace that meets technical requirements, including a stable wired or Wi-Fi internet connection. A wired connection is required if Wi-Fi performance is inconsistent.
