Philips is hiring a Remote Service Engineer to serve our customers by proactively monitoring the Philips PACS install base. You will be part of the EI-RI-SSD Operations team, bringing a support services mindset to every interaction. We believe that we are better together than apart.
What You'll Do
- Bring support services thinking and mind-set into all aspects of problem escalations.
- Build partnership with end customers wherever applicable.
- Analyze and troubleshoot various hardware components like compute, storage, and network, as well as application issues, quickly and effectively via remote administration.
- Analyze and troubleshoot Operating Systems issues quickly and effectively.
- Stay aware of the latest technical and organizational developments and their relevance to the business.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years experience in a remote service Engineering role.
- A keen interest in monitoring and alert management.
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and triaging.
- Comfort working in a 24/7 rotational shift model.
- Good communication skills and a quick learner attitude.
- Good understanding of Information Technology components.
- Willingness to work in shifts and 24/7 models.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to healthcare IT or PACS environments.
