Seagate Technology is looking for a Test Process & Firmware Engineering Intern to join our product development team at the Singapore Design Center- Shugart. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with experienced mentors to enhance and innovate manufacturing test processes for industry-leading Cloud hard disk drives.

What You'll Do

Design, test, and integrate solutions for read/write, servo, and firmware subsystems, including hardware initialization, troubleshooting, and performance characterization.
Collaborate with design engineering, controller firmware, process engineering, and high-volume manufacturing teams to support new product launches.
Engage with various engineering and manufacturing teams across the company, taking on roles such as technology planning, integration, and product launching at volume sites.

What We're Looking For

Currently enrolled as a 3rd or 4th year student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering challenges and develop effective technical solutions.
Strong hands-on skills with the ability to identify and debug firmware issues, analyze root causes, and drive corrective actions.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and technical leadership abilities.
Available to start the internship in May or June 2026.
Proficiency in Python and C programming languages, and familiarity with source code management systems such as Perforce.
Ability to be innovative and deliver results under pressure.
