What You'll Do
You’ll assemble and configure hardware components for deployment in maritime environments, conducting thorough testing in the workshop to verify system integrity before vessel installation. You’ll collaborate with Field Service Engineers to guide remote setups and troubleshoot connectivity issues as they arise. Monitoring onboard systems is a key responsibility, requiring prompt responses to anomalies and consistent follow-up to maintain performance.
You’ll evaluate new sensor technologies and hardware configurations, ensuring compatibility and reliability in demanding conditions. Working closely with project managers, logistics teams, and data engineers, you’ll help bridge technical domains to keep projects on track. A significant part of your role involves securing stable remote access to vessel systems, enabling continuous data flow and operational insight.
