Corporate Immigration Attorneys is seeking a Remote Business Immigration Attorney to prepare and file a high volume of employment-based immigration cases. You will specialize in complex petition types and work in a fast-paced environment serving diverse corporate clients.
What You'll Do
- Diligently prepare cases, legal strategies, and cover letters.
- Develop an expert-level understanding of client cases, preparing immigrant and non-immigrant petitions with in-depth knowledge of EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and RFE responses.
- Manage various projects and deadlines while preparing and revising documents.
- Explain legal terminology to clients succinctly and in a timely manner.
- Research unique legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions.
- Stay current on legislative changes affecting immigration law.
- Develop solutions to complex legal questions.
- Provide training to client companies and individuals on substantive legal topics and regulatory updates.
- Partner with colleagues to share information, resolve client issues, and support all client projects.
- Communicate effectively with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural issues, case processing, and case strategy.
- Assess the eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status in the U.S.
- Work with global mobility personnel and general counsel, preparing petitions for submission to the DOL and USCIS.
- Supervise paralegal staff in record keeping and document preparation to ensure accuracy.
What We're Looking For
- A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Admission to a U.S. state bar in good standing.
- High-level organizational skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume law firm setting.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn across various practice areas.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to work proactively on daily tasks with minimal supervision.
Nice to Have
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience with EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and RFE cases.
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be based in and eligible to work in California.
