DaVita is looking for a Registered Nurse (Float RN) based in Waverly, Iowa to provide empathetic, compassionate care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. In this role, you will be a vital part of our outpatient dialysis team, floating to our clinics in West Union, Waterloo, and Cedar Rapids as needed to build meaningful, long-term relationships.

What You'll Do

Build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting.
Be part of a supportive team that relies on each other in a positive environment.
Deliver care to patients with multiple co-morbidities, creating unique treatment plans and leveraging a broad range of nursing skills.
Oversee a group of patients with the support of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), conducting observations, measuring stats, and managing machine setup.
Work with your head, heart, and hands each day in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Commit to improving patient health through clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives.
Float to various clinics during and after your training period.

What We're Looking For

Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) or a three-year diploma from an accredited program may be substituted.
A flexible schedule and ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to Have

Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) experience.
Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification.

You will work closely with a team and have the support of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to deliver exceptional patient care.

Work Mode

This is a local role requiring travel to clinics in Waverly, West Union, Waterloo, and Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
