Responsibilities
- Proactively engage customers to deliver a premium beauty shopping experience through tailored service, strategic upselling, and follow-up engagement.
- Initiate conversations with every customer entering the beauty section, actively listen to their needs, and offer expert product recommendations.
- Guide discussions to encourage new perspectives on beauty solutions and product choices.
- Demonstrate confidence in verbal communication to effectively influence purchasing decisions.
- Serve as a product authority by answering customer inquiries with in-depth knowledge to maximize transaction value.
- Educate customers on product benefits and correct usage to help them achieve desired results.
- Utilize monthly sample programs to build lasting customer relationships.
- Take part in company-sponsored sales events and promotional initiatives that enhance business performance.
- Promote loyalty programs and special in-store events to support sales closure.
- Design and maintain eye-catching product displays, end caps, and promotional materials aligned with brand and marketing goals.
- Keep the assigned area clean, fully stocked, and merchandised to brand standards while adhering to hygiene protocols.
- Follow all sanitation, hazardous waste, and tool cleaning procedures according to company policy.
- Complete onboarding milestones at 30, 60, and 90 days, and continue with ongoing training to stay current on products and sales techniques.
- Follow the defined sales strategy to meet or exceed budgeted sales targets.
- Attend training sessions and calls on new products, promotions, brand launches, and customer service excellence.
- Strive to surpass personal sales records and fully utilize the sales budget.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with company standards at all times.
- Stay informed and enthusiastic about emerging beauty trends and application methods.
- Pursue continuous improvement in product expertise and client service abilities.

Physical requirements
- Ability to stand or move throughout the store for most of the workday to support customer service and beauty consulting duties.
- Capable of bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching to access lower shelves and handle products.
- Able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, such as ear piercing.
Language
Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is required in certain store locations.
Training and certification will be provided for ear-piercing services.
Ear-piercing certification and training will be provided to qualified candidates.
