Oak Street Health is looking for a Beauty Sales Consultant to join the beauty retail division of CVS Health. In this role, you will provide friendly, knowledgeable sales service to customers in the store's beauty zone, building personalized baskets and sharing the latest beauty trends.
What You'll Do
- Seek out customers to provide personalized sales service based on needs, using upselling and suggestive selling.
- Engage in conversation with each customer entering the beauty zone, listen to their needs, and provide specialized sales advice.
- Use verbal skills confidently to generate sales and stimulate different thought processes in conversations.
- Answer customer questions in detail with product knowledge to produce the largest sales basket possible.
- Educate customers on product usage and benefits, leveraging the CVS beauty monthly sampling program.
- Participate in and represent company sales programs or events, discussing CVS Beauty Club programs and promotions.
- Create and maintain product displays, end caps, and beauty-specific promotional materials.
- Keep assigned area well-stocked, well-merchandised, and compliant with hygiene standards.
- Ensure CVS tester sanitation, hazardous waste disposal, and tool cleansing policies are executed timely and compliantly.
- Complete initial 30/60/90-day onboarding training and ongoing educational programs.
- Execute the established sales plan by meeting the sales budget and tracking progress.
- Participate in sales training meetings and conference calls concerning programs, promotions, and goals.
- Compete to beat prior sales goals and max out sales budget.
- Maintain a professional appearance in compliance with company guidelines at all times.
- Stay informed and excited about the latest beauty trends and techniques.
- Seek to further product knowledge and client service skills.
- Perform duties requiring manual dexterity, such as ear piercing (training provided).

- Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to perform ear-piercing services in all stores (training and certification to be provided).
- In specific CVS stores, bilingual ability to speak to customers in both English and Spanish.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
