VELUX Group is hiring an Assembly Operative to join our manufacturing team. You will perform repetitive assembly operations in the manufacturing of skylight component parts according to production standards and plans. Our work enables people to live healthier everyday lives with more daylight and fresh air.

What You'll Do

Install components to assemble the finished product.
Perform work according to assigned Job Instructions (J.I.’s).
Ensure production, quality and safety standards are met.
Perform cleaning and maintain 5’s practices.
Perform other assignments as directed by local supervision.

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to perform the essential functions assigned to the position.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work overtime and on weekends as needed.
A demonstrated desire and ability to work in a team environment through a positive quality, safety, attendance and good work history.
Compliance with all rules of conduct, safety regulations and policies.

Nice to Have

High School Diploma or GED.
Experience in a production environment.
Experience reading and utilizing blueprints.
Understanding of metric measurement systems.
