About the Role

Standard Bots is hiring a Regional Sales Manager to develop new business opportunities and drive revenue growth across the US West Coast. In this remote role, you will work closely with engineering and product teams to understand customer challenges and translate our technical capabilities into compelling robotic automation solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within manufacturing, logistics, and industrial sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, integrators, and channel partners.
  • Understand customer challenges and align them with our robotics solutions.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle—from prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to tailor demos, proposals, and solutions for each customer.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to inform product development and strategy.
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in robotics, industrial automation, or related technology fields.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of automation technologies, robotics integration, and industrial workflows.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a startup environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Nice to Have

  • Existing network of contacts within manufacturing or automation sectors.
  • Experience selling complex capital equipment or SaaS-based automation platforms.
  • Familiarity with industrial robotics, machine vision, or motion control systems.

This role involves close collaboration with the engineering and product teams to understand customer needs and shape solutions.

  • Compensation: $110,000 to $150,000 base salary + equity via Employee Stock Options.

Work Mode

This is a remote position for candidates based on the U.S. West Coast. Ideal location is California, but we are open to candidates in Washington, Oregon, Arizona, or Las Vegas.
