About the Role

Environmental Solutions Group (ESG) is hiring a Regional Sales Manager, Remote Northeast to spearhead the growth of our Connected Collections™ products. In this remote role based in the Northeast United States, you will be accountable for increasing sales and market share for Refuse Collection Vehicle (RCV) units, 3rd Eye Digital Gateways, and OEM/aftermarket parts through strategic distributor and direct sales management.

What You'll Do

  • Manage distributor and direct sales performance across the assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR).
  • Grow year-over-year sales and market share for RCV units, Digital Gateway units, and OEM/aftermarket parts.
  • Improve penetration of Ready Truck sales within the AOR.
  • Manage Heil-owned and distributor-owned demo programs effectively.
  • Oversee 3rd Eye pilots including Safety, Verif-Eye™, Optim-Eyes™, and Certif-Eye™ modules.
  • Participate in product development, including VOC activities and managing pre-production prototype units.
  • Maintain a detailed, accurate listing of RCV and Gateway units in the AOR using the current CRM.
  • Manage margins through the current discount management system and ensure its proper use by sales personnel.
  • Manage bid submittals and actively participate in credit and collections processes when required.
  • Perform annual reviews with direct employees and semi-annual reviews with distributors using the evaluation process.
  • Execute distributor agreements annually and promote Heil/3rd Eye policies for warranty, discounting, and order processing.
  • Ensure sales teams actively write our bid specifications at municipalities and leverage available marketing materials.
  • Ensure teams are sufficiently trained using Heil training resources.
  • Manage the annual expense budget to avoid exceeding targets.
  • Execute the Dealer Excellence Program, ensure accuracy in sales funnel activities, coordinate sales training, and lead annual business planning with dealership leadership.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor's degree in business management or marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of sales management experience (regional manager or above) in the heavy equipment sector, managing equipment and/or parts sales.

Nice to Have

  • An engineering degree (ME, IE, EE) and an MBA.
  • Experience in the Heavy Truck and Refuse industry.
