CrowdStrike is hiring a Regional Sales Manager, New Accounts (Remote, South Africa)

About the Role

CrowdStrike is hiring a Regional Sales Manager, New Accounts to sell our enterprise security software solutions and drive incremental revenue with new customers across South Africa. You will be accountable for the full sales lifecycle of new business accounts, primarily through flexible and scalable licensing models like Falcon Flex.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect, identify, qualify, and close new customer revenue within assigned accounts by building relationships with key decision makers.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business plans for each account, mapping CrowdStrike's solutions to customer business requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders during customer onboarding, accelerated product adoption, and eventual transition of accounts to expansion-focused teams.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation within CRM software of all customer contact, activity data, and opportunity details.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, deliver regular quarterly revenue, and implement agreed account and business plans.
  • Promote CrowdStrike's products, maximize brand recognition, and publicize customer success stories.
  • Provide customer feedback to internal stakeholders for product, systems, and process improvement.
  • Perform work primarily in the field away from the office to accomplish the duties of the position.

What We're Looking For

  • Expert-level experience using professional concepts to resolve complex issues creatively.
  • Deep industry knowledge and understanding of a customer's decision-making process, goals, strategies, and business objectives.
  • Expert-level presentation, customer service, financial acumen, and negotiation skills at all levels of customer engagement.
  • A complete, 'big-picture' understanding of the business and technical contexts of key account opportunities.
  • A driven, self-starter who exudes leadership and compels others to action.
  • Full proficiency in consultative effectiveness and establishing trust with internal and external customers.
  • Fully functional knowledge of sales methodologies, techniques, and the sales lifecycle of security software solutions.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience.

  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent educational background.

Team & Environment

You will collaborate with other teams, including Account Managers, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, Channel / Alliances sales teams, Finance, and Customer Support, as well as external parties such as Alliance and Channel Partners.
