Chili Piper is hiring a Strategic Growth - Account Executive

About the Role

As a Strategic Growth Account Executive, you'll focus on unlocking incremental revenue within existing high-value accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to identify expansion opportunities across new teams and business units, introduce additional products, and transition relationships to direct commercial agreements. You’ll own the entire sales process—from initial outreach through negotiation and contract finalization—ensuring alignment with long-term account goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead expansion initiatives using tools like Gong Engage to identify and convert new business lines within strategic accounts
  • Develop and execute tailored account plans that uncover new stakeholders, use cases, and product adoption paths
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles, including prospecting, discovery, value positioning, negotiation, and closing
  • Collaborate with Customer Success during early stages, then assume full ownership as opportunities progress toward direct contracts
  • Establish trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers
  • Align closely with Strategic SDRs, marketing, and partnerships teams to build pipeline and enable multi-threaded engagement
  • Deliver clear, differentiated messaging that highlights unique value propositions
  • Travel to client sites as needed, up to 20% of the time

Qualifications

You bring at least five years of experience in enterprise or strategic sales, with a demonstrated ability to sell SaaS solutions into complex, multi-department organizations. You’ve consistently closed net-new revenue, managed concurrent sales threads, and engaged senior leadership effectively. You’re confident owning commercial responsibilities from start to finish and communicate clearly, directly, and at an executive level.

Preferred candidates will have familiarity with Chili Piper or Gong, experience in partner-influenced sales environments, and reside in one of the following metro areas: Austin, Chicago, New York, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Boston, Washington D.C., or Philadelphia.

Work Environment

This role is remote-first but requires travel to customer locations when necessary. You’ll work autonomously while collaborating with a global, high-performing team that values transparency, ownership, and meaningful problem-solving.
