Planera was looking for a Regional Sales Manager (Chicago)

Planera is hiring a Regional Sales Manager in Chicago to secure long-term success by providing construction builders with the best planning and scheduling platform in the region. This is a mission-critical role for growing the company.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and develop new accounts by educating contacts about the business impact of our platform.
  • Hold face-to-face and Zoom meetings to understand customer business challenges and goals.
  • Run product demos based on customer needs and leverage Solutions Engineering for tailored demonstrations.
  • Meet and exceed quota goals as a team.
  • Sell to multiple stakeholders, sell against competitors, negotiate, present, and close with value.
  • Liaise with sales engineer and customer success teams to provide a great customer experience.
  • Work collaboratively with solutions engineering, customer success, and business development to deliver great customer outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of full cycle SaaS software sales.
  • Proven experience identifying and closing strategic contracts.
  • Experience in Construction Tech and familiarity with construction workflows.
  • Hunter mindset, results-driven, and proactive in building new business pipeline.
  • A track record of high achievement exceeding quotas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a builders mentality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
