CrowdStrike seeks a Regional Sales Engineer to be the technical face of our Next Gen SIEM (LogScale) for major strategic accounts across the Central region. You will guide prospective customers through the sales cycle, providing technical vision and becoming a trusted advisor.
What You'll Do
- Own the technical relationship with prospective customers through the sales cycle and maintain it post-sale.
- Provide technical value by answering questions, demonstrating capabilities, and laying out a technical vision for LogScale and NG-SIEM.
- Act as a LogScale subject matter expert, assisting with internal enablement.
- Work closely with sales, leadership, marketing, support, customer success, and engineering teams.
- Provide feedback on deal progress, uncover prospect wants and needs, and translate them into tangible platform value.
- Play an integral part in defining and executing the go-to-market strategy, exploring new use cases, integrations, and partnerships.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with log management, SIEM, and XDR, including data ingest, parsing, manipulation, visualization, and proving out security use cases.
- Ability to adapt, thrive and excel in a fast-moving, nimble environment.
- Comfortable in a team selling environment, working in close collaboration with peers in the sales organization.
- Consultative sales approach with the ability to challenge companies to think differently.
- Strength in evangelizing technology and new account acquisition (hunting).
- High motivation and professionalism, with excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills with the attested ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Self-starter able to work independently but also team oriented.
- Excellent problem resolution skills – resourceful and constructive.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Linux and Windows troubleshooting, data ingestion formats, programming languages, cloud concepts, and orchestration tools.
- Experience with distributed data stores, data shipping services, cloud providers, SSO concepts, and container orchestration such as Kubernetes.
- Participation in one or more common sales processes such as MEDDPICC, Challenger Selling, or Value Selling in a presales or architect role.
