Stromasys is hiring a Sales Engineer to act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and a key partner to our sales team. You will be instrumental in driving the adoption of our cybersecurity solutions by understanding customer environments, crafting tailored proposals, and guiding technical engagements throughout the sales cycle.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
- Conduct in-depth technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Build and maintain strong technical relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Understand customer security challenges, technical requirements, and existing infrastructure to propose tailored solutions.
- Design, deploy, and manage Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) and evaluations.
- Assist in the creation of technical documentation, proposals, and RFP responses.
- Deliver health-checks and workshops for existing customers.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our products, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
- Stay up to date on the latest cybersecurity threats, attacks, and trends.
- Work closely with product management and engineering teams to relay customer feedback.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our solutions and generate leads.
- Own and maintain the technical relationship with the NetWitness partners community within the assigned territory.
- Provide technical training and support to sales team members and partners.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in a sales engineering, technical pre-sales, security consulting, or similar role in the cybersecurity industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols, network security concepts, and security architectures.
- Strong knowledge of threat detection methodologies, incident response processes, and common attack vectors.
- Experience with Threat Detection and Response solutions, such as SIEM, NDR, EDR, UEBA, and SOAR.
- Proven ability to conduct effective product demonstrations and POCs.
- Proven track record of supporting successful sales cycles and achieving sales targets.
- Familiarity with Linux CLI and basic scripting/programming skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Team player, with a genuine collaborative attitude.
Nice to Have
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, SANS, or similar are a plus.
