Pharmacosmos Therapeutics Inc., a family-held company built on passionate, knowledgeable people, is hiring a Regional Sales Director. This position contributes to the company’s success by driving sales at the regional level and is responsible for achieving or exceeding sales objectives in the assigned region. You will lead specialty account representatives to achieve their goals across Phoenix, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Boise, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, and Long Beach.
What You'll Do
- Meet or exceed all regional sales objectives.
- Manage, coach, develop, and recruit a diverse team of high-performing specialty account representatives.
- Maintain and expand the customer base by guiding representatives and building rapport with key customers.
- Craft and execute an effective business planning approach that aligns with national expectations.
- Assess, prioritize, and review the development needs of each representative, creating individualized action plans.
- Conduct regular field visits and business reviews to ensure compliant programs and effective account management.
- Provide regular coaching and feedback to support both business and career development.
- Create, build, and maintain relationships with account stakeholders and key opinion leaders.
- Establish effective communication with regional team members, peers, and internal partners.
- Ensure cooperative collaboration with Marketing, Sales Training, Market Access, Strategy and Operations, Human Resources, and Medical Affairs.
- Resolve performance issues fairly and efficiently.
- Plan and conduct regional sales meetings.
- Ensure individual and team compliance with all Corporate Policies and government regulations.
- Adhere to all administrative requirements as directed by the National Sales Director.
What We're Looking For
- BS/BA degree required.
- Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical management experience in specialty markets.
- Buy-and-bill OR HEM/ONC experience required.
- Experience building launch-ready sales items.
- Broad cross-functional experience in other commercial roles, such as marketing, sales operations, training, national/corporate accounts, managed markets, or hospital markets.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and expand relationships with key stakeholders and complex accounts.
- Strong analytical and business acumen.
- Strong understanding of reimbursement, distribution, and managed care processes, as well as experience with various sites of care, injectables, and Medicare coverage.
- Documented track record of recruiting, retaining, and developing high-quality staff.
- Documented track record of leading sales teams that meet or exceed sales objectives.
Team & Environment
You will lead a team of specialty account representatives and report directly to the National Sales Director.
