What You'll Do
Own the internal engine that keeps the company running efficiently. You'll manage end-to-end HR operations—from onboarding and contracts to payroll coordination—ensuring every detail is handled. Prepare and distribute investor updates, maintain accurate reporting, and keep leadership aligned with key operational metrics.
Oversee subscriptions, insurance, office logistics, and digital tools to support a seamless remote-first environment. Serve as the primary contact for internal process questions, including time-off policies, expense tracking, and equity inquiries. Help maintain compliance by organizing documentation, supporting audits, and liaising with external legal and financial advisors.
Take initiative in identifying bottlenecks and designing cleaner workflows. Use AI tools daily to automate repetitive tasks and improve team productivity. Lead goal-setting cycles across the organization and help establish rhythms that keep teams aligned and accountable.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in fast-paced environments, preferably within startups or scale-ups where you've built structure from ambiguity
- A natural executor who finds satisfaction in closing loops and refining processes
- Comfortable switching between strategic tasks and hands-on administrative work
- Proven ability to take ownership of vague challenges and turn them into functional systems
- Daily use of AI for drafting, automation, or research is non-negotiable
- Capable of managing upward—holding founders accountable to deadlines and pushing back when necessary
- Fluent in both Dutch and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Dutch employment law, payroll systems, or HR administration
- Experience using Moneybird, Google Workspace, Linear, or Slack
- Background in finance or accounting, especially as it relates to budgeting or investor reporting
- Previous work in regulated industries such as healthcare, fintech, or legal tech
