Saputo Dairy UK is hiring a Regional Manager, Sales

About the Role

Saputo is looking for a Regional Manager, Sales to lead our growth channel initiatives. In this role, you will focus on prospecting new customers and managing core retail accounts to expand product sales. You will be responsible for achieving sales and profit plans while executing key customer strategies.

What You'll Do

  • Proactively prospect and secure new customers to expand Saputo product sales.
  • Manage assigned core retail customer accounts and own corporate customer relationships.
  • Meet your assigned account(s)'s annual volume plan, profit plan, and subsequent quarterly forecast.
  • Leverage Saputo's full portfolio of products and services to introduce new value-creating ideas to customers.
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes for all parties.
  • Plan and prioritize customer initiatives for execution and coordination.
  • Leverage insights to identify and advance opportunities for complex or large customers.
  • Oversee category management initiatives at the region and customer level.
  • Provide competitive market intelligence and feedback on new product launches.
  • Gain multi-level and multi-functional account penetration to make profitable decisions.
  • Execute agreements to deliver on customer expectations while maximizing business value.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with assigned customers and build lasting relationships.
  • Plan, execute, close, and follow up on negotiations to create mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Negotiate field-based sales trade strategies and marketing programs.
  • Maintain clear communication with Sales Operations on opportunities and challenges within your assigned customers.
  • Maximize sales margins by monitoring and assisting with A/R, credit issues, deductions, and samples.

What We're Looking For

  • 5 plus years of directly related experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Understanding of the core distributor strategic label value proposition.
  • Food Broker Sales Agency experience.
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities in negotiation, insight-selling, presentation, communication, trade management, analytical, planning, and measurement within the food and beverage industry.

Nice to Have

  • BS/BA Degree in a related area.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Saputo and/or cheese and dairy product knowledge.

This is a hybrid position based in the US.
