About the Role

Eli Lilly Canada is hiring a Regional Manager Cardiometabolic Health to own the commercial strategy for our current and future diabetes and metabolic health portfolio at the specialist level in the region of Antwerp, Limbourg, and Flemish Brabant. You will be vital to executing customer-facing activities and delivering an unparalleled experience for healthcare professionals.

What You'll Do

  • Drive sales and promotion of the diabetes and metabolic health portfolio to specialists including Diabetologists, Endocrinologists, and Cardiologists.
  • Be responsible for key products within their current indications, new product launches, and NILEX launches.
  • Act as the product and Lilly ambassador in the region with deep knowledge of products, key accounts, and hospital structures.
  • Create, implement, and improve concrete Account Plans for major hospitals and universities.
  • Excel in territory management, including managing appointments, coverage, and call rates for different HCP tiers.
  • Master and integrate Value Based Selling (VBS) techniques within strategic marketing message implementation.
  • Challenge existing treatment habits by identifying gaps to achieving better patient outcomes.
  • Execute in a multichannel environment via live or virtual representation during face-to-face contacts, meetings, congresses, and in-hospital events.
  • Embrace multichannel touchpoints by actively integrating digital activities into plans.
  • Optimize the channel mix when defining action and implementation plans.
  • Work cross-functionally and build on experience within current commercial teams.
  • Independently implement plans, challenge execution, evaluate results, and adapt to accomplish business objectives.
  • Maximize national results by sharing successes and failures to remove roadblocks for the entire team.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager as jointly responsible for overall sales results in the region.
  • Participate actively with Medical Affairs, Medical Science Liaison, and Marketing to define and optimize activity implementation and customer program needs.
  • Ensure identification and notification of adverse events, complaints, or counterfeiting to concerned internal services and compliance with sample management processes.

What We're Looking For

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree with a special interest in health or healthcare.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales or customer-facing experience within a commercial setting.
  • Self-drive and self-motivation to perform are essential.
  • Character defined by passion, enthusiasm, and persuasion.
  • Very strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Selling skillset in both one-on-one and group settings.
  • Ability to hold high-level exchanges with customers and understand scientific data in the domain.
  • Strong command of English, in addition to Dutch.
  • Being digitally savvy.

Team & Environment

You will report to the National Sales Manager and work in close collaboration with the Sales Manager, Medical Affairs, Medical Science Liaison, and Marketing teams.
