3M is seeking a Regional Distribution Leader to manage assigned distributor partner accounts in Southern Ontario, Canada. In this role within the Safety and Industrial Business Group Sales team, you will be responsible for leading distributor relationships and driving strategic growth.
What You'll Do
- Lead as the Regional Distribution Leader for assigned distributor partner accounts in Southern Ontario, Canada.
- Determine direction and priorities with full accountability for results for assigned accounts.
- Identify and define market and product opportunities to meet sales and growth objectives, including category management and shelf conversion.
- Build strong distributor partner and customer relationships.
- Build and implement a Joint Business Plan with channel partners.
- Manage the Customer Incentive Plan and process with channel partners.
- Manage sales targets for the territory, including contract sales, field sales, sales support, reporting, business intelligence, customer relationship management, territory planning, forecasting, prospecting, rep issue resolution, inquiries, sample orders, order expedites, and CRM entries.
What We're Looking For
- A High school diploma or CAEC - Canadian Adult Education Credential (completed and verified prior to start).
- Five (5) years of customer service, account management, outside or inside sales, or channel/distributor partner experience.
- A current, valid Driver’s License.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
- Experience in solution selling and problem-solving.
- Ability to create and manage a business plan.
- Influential management skills.
- Knowledge of distribution and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience with Salesforce.Com.
