Sony Electronics is hiring a Regional Account Manager to lead sales and market development in the Midwest. This outside sales position drives growth in core verticals like Higher Education, Corporate, Government, and Healthcare, with expansion into Retail, Transportation, and Large Venues. You will sell AV presentation products and align closely with reseller and distribution partners.
What You'll Do
- Align with reseller and distribution partners to drive business and expand market share.
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships with key decision-makers to become a trusted advisor.
- Manage sales pipeline, forecast, and market development funds.
- Drive internal activities to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Interface with internal marketing, engineering, customer service, and demand planning groups to meet goals.
What We're Looking For
- BS degree or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of related experience in outside sales.
- Prior experience creating and executing major account penetration plans.
- Experience managing multiple reseller and integrator partners.
- Experience with digital signage and collaboration solutions.
- Broad business background, strong problem-solving skills, and demonstrated creativity in overcoming sales barriers.
- Ability to make professional and compelling presentations and communicate effectively to large and small audiences.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Experience and competency with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Ability for overnight travel; 60% travel expected.
- Home office based within the territory (Midwest, ideally Ohio or Pennsylvania).

- Ability to quickly understand and analyze sales data.
- Strong working knowledge of the Salesforce CRM tool.
- A consistent track record for exceeding company expectations.

Reports to the National Sales Manager of Professional Display Solutions Sales. The role involves consistent interface with Key Account, National Account, and Distribution teams.
