Join Dungarvin’s Talent Acquisition team as a Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist. In this role, you will manage high-volume requisitions for DSP and ancillary roles within the Houston, TX area, sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates while building strong relationships and delivering an exceptional candidate experience. What You'll Do
- Proactively source candidates using job boards, career sites, hiring events, referrals, and creative outreach.
- Screen and evaluate talent, checking references and aligning motivators with business needs.
- Build and maintain an active, searchable pipeline in SmartRecruiters with smart tagging and talent community tools.
- Partner closely with hiring managers, offering insights on roadblocks like compensation, skills, and sourcing tactics.
- Represent Dungarvin at career fairs, networking, and community events to build awareness and attract talent.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience and act as a true brand ambassador.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of focused high-volume recruiting experience and a bachelor’s degree, OR a High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of high-volume recruiting experience.
- Proven experience sourcing, interviewing, and hiring hourly workforces with a strong understanding of high-volume recruitment processes and strategies.
- Proficiency with job boards and sourcing platforms, such as Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, CareerBuilder, etc.
- Skilled in HRIS systems like Workday, SmartRecruiters, and other ATS platforms; experienced with Microsoft Teams and virtual meeting tools like Zoom and GoToMeeting.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 including Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience working within Healthcare, Social Services, Retail, Manufacturing, hospitality, etc.
- Prior staffing agency experience is a significant advantage.
