Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) is hiring a Public Sector Associate to join the Development Cooperation and International Institutional Relations Directorate. In this role, you will focus on originating and structuring financing operations for sovereign and sub-sovereign counterparties in partner countries.

What You'll Do

• Originate and structure financing operations for sovereign and sub-sovereign counterparties in partner countries.
• Interact directly with relevant counterparties during the deal process.
• Prepare documents for internal approval processes and for submission to Ministries.

What We're Looking For

• A university degree in Economics, Law, Engineering, or a similar field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in the origination and execution of financing operations.
• Strong analytical skills, including contract analysis, credit and balance sheet analysis, and financial modeling.
• Developed negotiation skills gained in primary banking and insurance institutions, consulting firms, or relevant corporate industrial financial entities.
• Experience working in international contexts, particularly in emerging markets.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
• Availability to travel frequently abroad to emerging countries.
• Strong organizational, planning, and priority management skills.
• Ability to work in a team, problem-solving aptitude, and commercial orientation.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of the French or Spanish language.

Team & Environment

You will join the Sovereign and Sub-Sovereign Financing Team, which is part of the Financing, Funds and Blending International Development Cooperation Area.

Work Mode

This is an onsite position based in Rome.
