As a Business Development Manager focused on the East Coast, you will lead strategic initiatives to position critical technologies within key customer projects, particularly in semiconductor fabrication facilities. Your focus will be on securing early-stage specification wins and influencing capital expenditure decisions that drive long-term revenue growth.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the primary liaison for strategic customers, guiding them through technical evaluation and procurement processes for filtration and purification systems.
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to align product capabilities with customer requirements, identifying opportunities to enhance solutions where gaps exist.
- Develop and execute engagement strategies involving cross-functional stakeholders, from engineering to executive leadership, to advance key accounts.
- Support high-impact capital projects by contributing to sales pipeline reviews and strategic planning sessions.
- Focus on both new customer acquisition and expansion within existing accounts across the Microelectronics industry.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of five years of direct customer-facing experience in the Microelectronics or related high-tech manufacturing sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in technical sales roles.
- Proven success in delivering measurable financial outcomes through strategic account development.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to make timely decisions in complex, fast-moving environments.
- Experience engaging with diverse internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and close strategic deals.
Preferred Background
- Prior experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry or technical sales within contamination control, filtration, or high-purity fluid systems.
- At least two years of sales experience targeting integrated device manufacturers or similar technical customers.
Compensation & Work Environment
This position offers a base salary range of $120,000 – $135,000 USD annually, with eligibility for bonus and incentive compensation. Remote work is supported from a location within the US East Coast region, allowing flexibility while maintaining alignment with regional customer needs.
