U-Haul is hiring a Public Charging Network Analyst for GM Energy to support the team in its mission to deliver a best-in-class EV charging experience. This role focuses on optimizing the public charging network through data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic partnerships within the EV ecosystem.
What You'll Do
- Support the team in executing solutions to optimize the public EV charging experience and deliver on commitments.
- Facilitate and manage cross-functional project teams focused on improving the customer experience around EV charging for home, public, dealers, and fleets.
- Build a strong network of external relationships throughout the EV ecosystem (e.g., suppliers, consultants, analysts, utilities).
- Identify connections between key stakeholders in a business ecosystem including new entrants, government regulators, and competitors.
- Research business and customer experience opportunities adjacent to current EV opportunities.
- Develop growth strategies, balancing customer and other requirements.
- Synthesize an engaging story based on insights and analyses, including building short, clear PowerPoint decks and presenting clearly to key decision-makers.
- Work collaboratively with engineering teams, program management teams, and other internal groups to craft and execute strategies for optimizing the charging experience.
What We're Looking For
- An undergraduate degree.
- 3+ years of professional experience with an automotive OEM in an electrification-based role, electric vehicle charging company, utility, or organization focused on EV and customer experience.
- Comfort working in whitespace and an open-minded approach to new and changing concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to understand business concepts, including critically evaluating and creating project plans.
- Ability to work with all levels within General Motors globally and across functional boundaries (e.g., finance, purchasing, vehicle development, legal), including senior leaders.
- Action-oriented, with strong business acumen and strategic agility.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and motivate others, working well cross-functionally.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
